About Pattni Digital
Building stronger businesses through technology
Pattni Digital was created to make professional website and digital product development more accessible to members of the Pattni community while building a sustainable source of support for wider community initiatives.
The idea
Where most businesses actually get stuck
The problem is rarely ambition. It is that good digital work has been hard to buy with any confidence.
What we kept seeing
Capable businesses relying on arrangements that quietly cost them enquiries every week.
- Outdated websites
- Social media alone
- Manual enquiry processes
- Fragmented digital tools
- Expensive or unclear agency quotations
- Developers who do not understand the business goal
How Pattni Digital responds
A deliberately simple model: publish the prices, define the scope, deliver it properly and return a share of it.
- Transparent starting packages
- Preferential community pricing
- Structured delivery
- Modern development methods
- Commercially professional relationships
- Community reinvestment
Founder
Built from practical product experience
Shiv founded and built Shaadi Source, a two-sided digital marketplace for South Asian weddings. Building a marketplace end to end means making the decisions most projects only talk about: what the first version should contain, which user problem is worth solving first, and what to leave out.
That experience covers product vision, requirements, prioritisation, user journeys, analytics, supplier onboarding and digital platform delivery. Pattni Digital applies the same practical experience to help other businesses move from an idea to a working product.
How we work
Modern methods, human responsibility
Pattni Digital uses modern development and AI-assisted tools to work efficiently, but every project remains guided by agreed business requirements, reviewed against the approved scope and delivered with human responsibility.
Business-first discovery
We start with the commercial outcome you need, not with a list of technologies.
Clearly defined scope
What is being built, what it costs and what is excluded is written down before work begins.
Efficient AI-supported development
Modern tooling removes repetitive work so more of the budget goes into the parts that matter.
Human review and responsibility
Every decision and every line shipped is reviewed against the approved scope by a person.
Structured testing
The build is tested across devices and against the agreed requirements before launch.
Practical handover
You leave with the access, the accounts and the understanding to run it yourself.
Community mission
Why the Community Fund exists
- Preferential rates are offered to members of the Pattni community, so the cost of a professional build is not the reason a good business stays invisible.
- Eligibility is currently confirmed during the project application process rather than through a membership scheme.
- Five percent of qualifying community-project development fees is allocated to the Pattni Digital Community Fund.
- The Fund is currently administered by Shiv.
- Public reporting begins after the first qualifying projects are completed. Every published figure is zero today, and that is accurate.
5% of qualifying community-project development fees is allocated to the Pattni Digital Community Fund.
Principles
What we hold ourselves to
- Clarity
- Clear scope, pricing and responsibilities.
- Practicality
- Build what the business genuinely needs.
- Quality
- Professional implementation, testing and support.
- Accessibility
- Preferential rates for the Pattni community.
- Accountability
- Transparent delivery and community reporting.
- Partnership
- Support clients through decisions, not only coding.
Being clear
What Pattni Digital is not
Setting expectations honestly at the start is easier than correcting them later.
Not a charity
Pattni Digital is a commercial business. It is not a registered charity, it does not seek donations, and the Community Fund is a voluntary allocation from our own development fees.
Not unlimited free technical support
Every project includes a defined 30-day bug-support period. Ongoing maintenance and further development are arranged as separate, priced work.
Not a low-quality template service
Community pricing changes the rate, not the standard. Projects are planned, built, tested and handed over properly.
Not a promise that every idea fits a fixed package
Some projects are larger than a package. When that is the case we say so early and quote the work honestly rather than squeezing it into a price.
Not a replacement for professional advice
We are not legal, accounting or regulatory advisers. Where a project touches those areas, you will need your own advice alongside ours.
